Adobe Camera Raw -- I just shot a Macbeth ColorChecker with two Canon 1DmkII bodies. One I believe is from the original batch of MkIIs when they came out, the other is around a year newer. Both have been in to Canon for servicing/overhaul. Same tripod mounted lens (70-200IS), same lights, etc.--just swapped bodies between the shots. If anyone wants to compare them let me know and I can give you a link to them. They are 6.2 meg each. JohnC |
The following image was prepared in Curvemeister using pin values to display deltaE values between pairs of images.
All deltaE values are less than 3.0, indicating that there is no significant difference between John's two cameras.

The files were prepared using default settings in ACR, with auto modes disabled and controls set to their "flat" position. The files were saved as 16 bit ProPhoto RGB tiff images. Curvemeister uses a saved sample file, using Photoshop Lab values to perform a deltaE calculation in cartesian Lab space.
Note: an earlier version of this comparison used the ACR defaults, and included some auto settings. The deltaE values were not significantly different from those shown here.
