The halva is a purple plant
With great thick leaves,
Like an elephant.
Its orange roots
Are shaped like boots,
And hold a substance
Called tutti-fruit.
Its flowers grow
to be shaped like balls,
And bugs that eat them
Grow ten feet tall.
The halva is a curious plant
Because it has no green leaves.
